About Alexa.com

- Alexa.com ranking may not be the most accurate way to measure the traffic of a website, however, it is by far the closest measurements for website ranking that can be done on the Net.

How Alexa.com rank the website.

- Alexa.com provides a toolbar for any Internet users to download.

- User who download the toolbar can view the ranking of any website that the user is viewing.

- While the user is viewing a website, all the URLs the person is viewing are sent back to Alexa.com for statistic purposes.

- The ranking data is compiled from, the internet users who downloaded Alexa toolbar.

- As of today there are over 10 millions Internet users download Alexa toolbar, and constantly updating Alexa database every second.

Criteria to be included in the Malaysia Top 50 by CARI.com.my

- The website must be own by a Malaysian company.

- Multinational company that has the same domain name for all country will not be included, because the traffic is combined of few countries.

- Malaysian company that has branches overseas, and shared the same domain name that is NOT "com.my" will not be included as well.

- ONLY domain names that are ranked SEPARATELY by Alexa.com from its parents oversea company will be included.

- If we can not differentiate the traffic is either from the parents overseas company or from only local traffic, the URL will not be included.

- If we have missed your websites to be included as the Top 50 Malaysia most popular website, please let us know.
